MANNA Food Co-op in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota is seeking an adaptable, creative thinker to become the general manager who can lead our community-owned, local food cooperative into the future. 

MANNA was founded in 2016 and has grown from a hopeful dream in a small location to a downtown destination with a sustainable fiscal status in less than five years of operation. We are looking for a team leader who can inspire employees and provide vision for where the co-op should go in the next 5 to 10 years.  

Qualified candidates will be experienced managers with the ability to integrate daily business management practices with prioritizing work tasks for self and staff with visionary thinking. Implementing the Co-op’s policies while designing systems and processes to achieve goals is a high priority. The ideal candidate must demonstrate: a successful career in management of grocery and/or retail industry; self starter abilities and a history of achieving goals; outstanding communication skills and customer service; the proven ability to lead and motivate others; and the highest integrity, personal responsibility, and personal and social values required for continued growth of our community-owned cooperative.
