A Community Local Foods Dinner Series

Gather Around the Table is the first event in Manna's Community Local Foods Dinner Series, with dinners planned in August, September and October. Each dinner will feature a different chef and celebrate the incredible farms, producers, and seasonal harvests that make our local food community so special.

Every ticket helps support Manna's mission of strengthening our local food system while creating meaningful opportunities to gather as a community.

Join Manna Food Co-op for an unforgettable evening celebrating local food, community, music and the farmers who make our region unique.

This intimate five course dinner paired with Buck's Mill brews will take place right inside the front of the Manna Food Co-op after the store closes, transforming the co-op into a one night dining experience unlike anything else in the Lakes Area.

Acclaimed chef Andrea Baumgardner of BernBaum's in Fargo has created a unique Scandinavian and Jewish seasonal menu featuring ingredients sourced from local farms and producers. Each course tells a story of our region paired with Eastern European music and bringing people together around one table.

Meet Chef Andrea Baumgardner

Andrea Baumgardner is the acclaimed chef and cookbook author behind the beloved Fargo restaurant BernBaum's, where she became known for bringing together Scandinavian, German, and Jewish culinary traditions in creative and memorable ways.

Her thoughtful approach to food has earned recognition from the James Beard Foundation, and her cookbook, BernBaum's: Recipes from Fargo's Scandinavian Jewish Deli, celebrates the stories, heritage, and connections that can be shared around the table.

For this special evening at Manna, Andrea has created a menu inspired by the peak flavors of late summer and the abundance of our local farms.
